About Me

Artist Bio:

Alexandra Phoenix began her journey studying graphic design at a small college before transferring to the Illustration program at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. From there, she stepped into the New York art world, connecting with both local and international artists.

During the pandemic, with more time for creative exploration, she partnered with three other artists to launch an art book publishing project. Together, they brought in 60 artists from around the world. Alexandra served as the liaison between the artists and the internal team, while also taking on roles as brand designer, strategist, and interviewer.

This expanded her love of business building and she sought to expand this blossoming skillset in the following years by moving to another state to work in a startup environment backed by Wall Street executives, building A.I. before it exploded as a common feature in most businesses, and aid in expanding the startup regarding management, logistics, and design.

She continues to grow as an “artreprenuer” to build Crimson Creates Studio. Crimson Creates studio was a name born from an immortal, phoenix-like character from Alex’s childhood. Her character, Crimson, embodied a being who, like the Phoenix, revived herself again and again to become wiser, explore different human life experiences, and connect with others. . Crimson Creates Studio represents the ability to become new again and explore worlds that she loves- be it Brand Design, Fine Art, Illustration, or teaching.

It was born from her continuous habit to work with, be part of, and build businesses that are purpose and creative-driven.

But, also to expand in her early education of fine art and illustration.

In her free time, Alexandra enjoys making zines, mobility-kettlebell training , spending time with friends and family, and crafting visual mood boards to inspire her next project.
