GENERAL FAQ Below
-
Yes. Every engagement starts with a conversation. We want to understand your business, your goals, and where you are right now before we recommend anything. No pitch. No pressure. Book through the contact page and we will set it up.
-
Reach out through the contact page or email [email protected] directly. From there we schedule a discovery call, assess your needs, and put together a clear proposal. You will know exactly what you are getting, what it costs, and how long it takes before anything is signed.
-
Yes. Most of our work is remote. We work with clients across the US and have collaborated with creatives internationally. Location is not a limitation.
-
This is our home territory. Holistic health and wellness practitioners, coaches, yoga and movement studios, community organizations, artists and creative entrepreneurs, purpose-led founders, and brands built around impact. These are the businesses we built this studio to serve. We understand your audience, your values, and the kind of brand world that earns their trust long-term. If your business exists to improve lives, build community, or create something meaningful, you are exactly who we work with.

OUR METHOD FAQ Below
-
Brand Archetypes are psychological frameworks that define the core personality and worldview of a brand. Think of them as the emotional DNA. When a brand knows its archetype, every visual decision, every marketing message, every piece of content has a consistent foundation to build from. Without it, brands drift. They look different across channels, sound inconsistent in their messaging, and confuse potential customers without knowing why. We use Brand Archetype as the non-negotiable starting point of every engagement. It is what keeps your brand coherent and recognizable as it grows.
-
The BSS is a focused working session where we get clear on your brand's foundation together. Your story, your audience, your archetype, your positioning. It produces a document you can build from regardless of what comes next. It costs $300 and that investment applies directly toward any project of $2,500 or more booked within 30 days.
-
Most studios lead with aesthetics. We lead with strategy. Every visual decision we make is grounded in Brand Archetypal design, color and shape psychology, and a clear understanding of your target customer. We also bring something most creative studios cannot: real business experience. Sales leadership, startup operations, project management, and marketing strategy sit alongside the fine art training and design work. We can speak your language whether you are a solopreneur or a firm. The creative work carries the brand. The strategy makes it last.
-
We believe that as a creative business in modern day, you must always understand and add to your skillset the latest tools that impact your industries. That being said: Yes, as one tool among many. We hand-draw, paint, and sketch before a single file is opened. We work across Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Procreate, Unicorn Studio, and whatever the project calls for. AI accelerates certain parts of our workflow. It does not replace the thinking, the craft, or the decades of experience behind the decisions. In an age where AI is producing visual identities that increasingly look the same, that distinction is the point.

Services FAQ Below
-
We offer full-scope brand identity development: logo design, visual identity systems, color and typography hierarchies, brand style guides, and the complete visual language your business needs. We also do web design, print collateral, email marketing design, social media design, and marketing campaign development. Every service is built on your Brand Archetype first. That foundation is what ensures everything we produce for you is cohesive and intentional, not just good-looking.
-
Yes. Crimson Creates Studio recently expanded from a Branding and Design Studio into a full Marketing, Branding, and Creative Studio. That expansion came from a relationship almost a decade in the making.
Jillian Mazz was first a client. Over years of working together, a natural creative and strategic alignment became clear. She now partners with the studio to lead the marketing side of client engagements. Jillian brings 15 years of experience across digital and traditional marketing, has worked with Fortune 500 companies, and has generated millions in revenue through advertising and marketing strategy.
Together, Alex and Jillian work with clients to review goals, assess current positioning, build campaigns suited to your budget, and execute across the channels that make sense for your audience. Design and marketing developed together, from the same brand foundation, is a different product than either discipline handled separately. That is what we offer.
You can view our project with JIllian as a customer in our Branding Portfolio. -
Yes. If you already have a brand, we start by auditing what exists. Your style guide, visual identity, logo system, website, social presence, printed materials, and brand voice. We identify the gaps and disconnects, then align everything back to a clear, coherent foundation. We do not tear down what works. We find what is sound and fix what has drifted.
-
We design primarily with Squarespace, WIX, Shopify and work within platforms that suit your business needs and budget.
Every website we build is designed to communicate who you are and convert the people who land there.
We are working to expand into other platforms like Framer, Webflow, and more in the near future. -
At minimum: logo design, a full visual identity system, color palette, typography hierarchy, and a brand style guide. Larger engagements include web design, print collateral, email marketing templates, social media design, and marketing strategy. Every engagement begins with the Brand Identity Kit and Creative Direction. That is the foundation. Without it, everything else is just decoration.
-
Yes. Social media templates, content design, and campaign assets are part of our design services. We build them to stay on brand, always, because inconsistency is one of the fastest ways to erode audience trust.
However, video content creation and video editing are not what we offer. -
We are flexible with tools depending on what is needed and client requests. Some clients want their files accessible in a way that they understand (like Canva) so we work with them there, verses others are happier with a hands of approach so we use our standard tools.
Our tools range from Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma/FigJam, Procreate, Unicorn Studio, Canva, and a variety of other tools we are exploring in this wonderful creative industry. Tools used are varied depending on the project and deliverable. -
PROCESS & TIMELINE FAQ Below
-
Discovery call first. Then a proposal with clear scope, timeline, and investment. Once approved, we begin with your Brand Strategy Session and Creative Direction. From there, design phases follow a defined workflow with regular check-ins, clear milestones, and built-in revision rounds. You will always know where the project stands. No ambiguity. No surprises.
-
It depends on scope. A Brand Kit only is typically four weeks. Adding web, newsletter, and SEO brings it to seven weeks. A full Brand Kit plus web plus print is eight weeks. We give you a clear timeline before anything begins and hold to it.
-
Every project includes defined revision rounds. Additional rounds are available at $500 per round. We are direct communicators throughout, so by the time we reach revisions the work is already close.
-
PRICING FAQ Below
-
Yes. Payment structure is discussed during the proposal stage and tailored to the project. We want the right clients to be able to work with us and we handle that conversation with clarity and respect.
-
Both. We built this studio to serve businesses of all sizes within our focus industries. The approach scales. A boutique wellness brand and a mid-sized firm both deserve a brand that is clearly defined, strategically sound, and visually distinctive. We adapt the process to fit the scope.
