The Studio’s Mission.

Some things are built. Others are called into being.

Crimson Creates Studio was founded and is built by multi-disciplinary brand strategist, designer, and artist Alex Phoenix.

The studio was created with a singular mission: to bring an agency mindset and agency-level execution to smaller businesses. We believe that top-tier creative direction, brand clarity, and design work shouldn't be reserved for companies with enterprise budgets. The brands we work with are boutique, independent, and deeply intentional — and they deserve to look like it.

We thrive on seeing the smaller business win. Because in our experience, you care — about your product, your service, the lives of your clients, and the impact you leave on your community and your market — in a way that is rare and worth fighting for. We want to be alongside you for the ride.

Our process begins with you. Your story, your why, your vision. We translate that into a clear brand strategy and bring it to life through logo design, web design, product design, marketing and social media design, and printed materials. We are passionate about building worlds — visual and experiential spaces that your customers can enter, unconsciously feel your values within, and find themselves eager to explore further. And ultimately, to work with you.

Our story begins with Our Founder’s.

The work is the story.
And the story is still being written.

About Our Founder. Alex Phoenix.

Our Founder’s Story.

Alexandra Phoenix began at Seton Hall University studying Graphic Design before answering a deeper pull — transferring to the Illustration program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. The city did what it does: it expanded her. She stepped into the New York art world, moving between local and international artists, absorbing the way serious creative people worked, collaborated, and built things that lasted.

When the world paused, Alexandra didn't. During the pandemic, she partnered with three artists to launch an art book publishing project — bringing together 60 artists from across the globe. She served as the liaison between creators and the internal team, while simultaneously stepping into the roles of brand designer, strategist, and interviewer. It was the first time all of her instincts — the artistic, the analytical, the relational — operated in the same room at once. She recognized something in that.

What followed was intentional. She relocated to immerse herself in a startup environment backed by Wall Street executives, contributing to the early architecture of artificial intelligence before it became household language. She worked across management, logistics, and design — learning how vision becomes infrastructure, and how infrastructure becomes legacy.

All of it led here.

Crimson Creates Studio takes its name from a character Alexandra carried since childhood — Crimson, an immortal, phoenix-like figure who returned again and again, not diminished, but wiser. Richer in experience. Transformed by every world she touched. That character became a philosophy: that reinvention is not a setback. It is the work.

The studio exists at the intersection of fine art and brand strategy — a place where visual identity is treated with the same precision and intentionality as a crafted object. Alexandra brings her illustration training, her business fluency, and her eye for what makes a brand truly irreplaceable to every client she works with. Whether the work is a full brand identity, a character brought to life, or a creative direction built from the ground up, the approach is the same: deliberate, distinctive, and built to endure.

She also teaches — passing on the foundations of fine art and design to the next generation of visual thinkers.

Outside the studio, Alexandra makes zines, trains with kettlebells, curates visual mood boards, and spends time with the people who matter most.
